Ratanarungsiwat Company., Limited was established in 1988 with a modern amang processing plant in Amphur Kapong , Phang-nga province which there are also a lot of beautiful places for tRATANARUNGSIWAT CO.,LTDism in Thailand.
The aim of the company is to treat the tailings and amang from ex - tin mines which had been operated mostly in the southern part of Thailand many years ago. In tin tailings and amang , there are associated minerals or sometimes are called by - product minerals in which some of them are valuable and in big amount. Important associated minerals are Columbite - Tantalite , Wolframite , Struverite , Monazite , Xenotime , Zircon , Rutile , Garnet , Ilmenite. These valuable minerals are sources of important metals or chemical compounds that are used in many industries, such as Tantalum , Niobium , Titanium and Rare - Earth oxides.
The amang processing plant was equipped with modern machineries which has the capacity of more than 1,200 tons of raw materials per month. The processes consist of wet treatments and dry separations.
No chemicals are used in the processes , hence there is no problem with the environment. The amang processing plant was awarded the certificates for good green factory from the ministry of industry in an aspect of mineral treatment and beneficiation in 2009.
