Ravi industries limited is the largest exporter of brushes and brush blocks in Sri Lanka, accounting for almost 60% of the total exports in value terms. The company provides direct employment to about 225 persons in its 100, 000 sq. Ft. Production plant and almost 1, 000 more persons are employed indirectly through its sub contracting net work.
The company has state of the art cnc controlled brush filling machinery, capable of producing high quality brushes to customer specific requirements.
Brushes using expanded plastic backs are produced by hdv plastics ltd. A major share of whose capital is owned by ravi industries ltd. Here Ravi Industries Limited brush buyers have a unique advantage, because they could buy brushes with both timber and plastic backs, in the same consignment.
