Company Description

Created in 1970 by its founder Mr. Emilio Gollinucci, the company born as a specialist in upholstery for home and office chairs. In later years it began to develop the concept of a complete office chair production.
In 1986, with the arrival in the company of the group ACIAL France, was created REXSITT ITALIA SRL first European structure: chairs manufacturer for office, collectivity and workshops, called AGM EUROPROM COMPANY. Was born a product for all markets and was developed a concept for European industry.
In the following years the company was entirely acquired by the Gollinucci Family that created the brand REXSITT (REX from latin = KING and SITT = SEAT) to develop and produce a design product with technical and ergonomic features adaptable to all market needs.
The headquarters and factory are located in Bertinoro, Italy, approximately 80 km from Bologna (nearest airports: Bologna, Forli, Ancona) on a surface of 4000 m2 which includes: storage of raw materials, upholstery and cutting departments with innovative numerical control machines; assembly department, packaging department with automated packaging and palletizing machine, shipping department, offices and the show room.The staff includes 35 production employees, in the offices and production departments.
Over the years our technical department has gained considerable experience in the field of ergonomics and more advanced construction techniques, thanks to our close relationship with high specialized suppliers as: BOCK, STABILUS, COFEMO, DONATI...
Our construction technique provides a quality controlled daily production that follows the international regulations as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001-2 and allows Rexsitt a close collaboration with COSMOB (institute of research and testing) for product certification in compliance with European legislation EN 1335.1.2.3, and with TUV, a German institute for company control and the GS trademark on product certification.
Over the years, our research department has gained increasing attention on details and to the needs required in the workplace where, in addition to aesthetics, operators want comfortable seating, controllability adaptable to all different body sizes, equipped with mechanical support and able to relieve, during working hours, the weight charged on our back. In this context, Rexsitt has become a leader with his new creations: SKJPE AIR, STEP UP, PLAJ AIR and SKJPE UP.
Today Rexsitt is proud to present his projects and creations demonstrating the level of technical quality achieved and, at the same time, it is aware that the world and time are changing and for this reason our staff is moving to study new and more updated solutions to have always a better product.
