All rails are 1 1/4" diameter 18 gauge, type 304 satin-finished Stainless Steel, with an 1 1/2" clearance betSAF-T-RAIL INDUSTRIES INCen the wall and bar. Bar passes through flange and is heliarc welded to form a single structure unit. Mandrel bending process ensures uniform diameter around curves. Installed with stainless steel screws. This meets Handicapped Code requirements. Number 10 x 2 stainless steel screws will be provided with all grab bars. SAF-T-RAIL stocks all rails in 1 1/4" diameter, this allows a more secure grip for safety. Elderly clients with small hands or arthritis have difficulty grasping on to 1 1/2" diameter rail. Our heavy duty grab bars are used in hospital, hotel, government facilities, commercial building and residential settings. They meet and excess all requirements for commercial buildings and public places. We have provided services to Pinellas County Housing, Goodwill Complexes.
