Company Description

Sajocam company limited(SJCL) is a Cameroon plantation company. The Company produces crude palm oil (CPO) from its own sSajocam.Co.Ltdce of fresh fruit bunches (FFB), as well as FFB purchased from out growers in the immediate area of the crushing mill (palm oil mill-POM). Its minor products are palm kernel oil (PKO) extracted from palm kernel (PK) and palm kernel cake (PKC). UPOIC owns a POM in Krabi province and with a processing capacity of up to 360,000 tons of FFB per annum or 60 tons per hour while the palm kernel expeller plant (PKX) is capable of processing up to 26,500 metric tons of PK per annum. These products are used as raw materials for edible (cooking) oils, pet foods, butters, margarines, soaps, shampoos, detergents, cleansing liquids, cosmetics, as well as food ingredients for snacks and ice cream. PKC is mainly supplied to local poultry farmers and feed millers. As of December 31, 2009, UPOIC planted its oil palm with an area of 44,354.82 rai.
