Hello.
I started a Tteokjib, rice cake shop, because I loved tteok so much. Since I?ve set my foot in this business and started to make tteok, this has been my motto. I have been making excellent tteok for Sammi Foods, Inc., customers, for them to eat it deliciously on a special day. I would wake up early in the morning, soak rice, beat it in a mortar, steamed tteok in steamers, even through the cold winter days. Chapssaltteok, pyunsiru, duteop, guremtteok, yeongyangtteok, jeolpyeon, songpyeon, injulmi...

I have been making numerous, excellent traditional Korean tteok for a very long time. However, I began to think that progresses in the necessities of life are extremely fast nowadays, but advancements in tteok industry are very slow. Finally, in Siheung-si, we established the biggest, and the newest tteok manufacturer, CK, in 2005, with the determinations to become the pioneers of the tteok industries. Also, we are prepared to lead the future of tteok industry. We have established "Korean Traditional Tteok Laboratory" to study traditional tteok systematically, to catch up with the changing appetites in this fast-paced world, and to prepare for global markets. I believe that this is all based off from my motto, the artisan spirit, and the unswerving attention to tteok.
