) CompanyScientex Resource name is Scientex Packaging Film Sdn Bhd and we are located in Malaysia. At this present moment, we are operating from two plants, ie( i) First plant is located at Shah Alam Industrial Zone (45 minutes drive to Port Klang) and, ( ii) our New Plant is located at West Port, of Port Klang and are the newly established Export Processing Zone (This new plant is located around 2 minutes drive from the West Port handling terminal) . We started in 1996 to produce the L-LDPE stretch film for pallet wrapping application With the First line installation and are using the American made cast machine called, Black Clawson with a monthly capacity of 700mt. By 1999, we have double-up ourCapacity after the installation of the Second cast line and both lines are located at the Headquater in Shah Alam. As the demand for stretch film increased, in the year of 2001, We built a Newer plant located at the West Port in Port Klang and to-date, we Have installed another 4 more cast lines and our monthly capacity has increased to5, 200mt or appx 60, 000 MT / year. For the year 2007, we have embarked to build another New plant within the same vicinity and will install a few more Wider Web cast lines, Which will increase our yearly capacity to 100, 000mt. B) Besides producing theI) Manual film for hand application, we are alsoProducing the Machine application film (Standard type, Power pre-stretch type And the Metallocene based film for better strength and withstand better puncture) andIii) Colour Film-Opaque (Black / White) and Tinted (Red, Blue & Green) Iv) As our capacity increased, we have also built a paper core plant in West Port to meet ourGrowing demand for the 2" and 3"id paper cores. V) For your information, we are importing our raw material from Exxon Mobil / Singapore, Dow Chemical / Thailand, Mitsui / Japan and also Saudi Arabia. Vi) As for the market, we exported more than 95% of our stretch film to the Asia Pacific region Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Australia / New Zealand & South East Asia) , North / Central & South America, Middle East and South Africa countriesLastly, I would like to introduce myself.
