SEA & SKY is always searching for yarns made from natural and biodegradable processes in order to produce eco-friendly fabrics, and as a result reducing the amount of industrial waste which effect water and air pollution during the land-filling or incineration processes. In addition, all of SEA & SKY TEXTILE CO., LTD., fabrics are produced and processed at low temperature in order to decrease energy consumption. The wastewater from our dye machines is also completely and nontoxically cooled down without any chemical auxiliary.


At the present time when most textile manufacturers are producing functional fabrics for some of the world's famous brands and in order to meet the customer's specifications for functionality have often needed to add a variety of additional chemicals to control shrinkage , improve moisture management or decrease odor retention. From R & D of SEA & SKY's perspective, as long as additional chemicals are applied to the fabric during processing, it will remain some on the fabric and cause irritation on human skin.
In addition, the wastewater generated during chemical processing requires a complicated filtering process before reaching the standard of emission. Whether or not the current fabric factories can completely filter out the chemical auxiliaries from wastewater still remains in a doubt. From our perspective, the only way to make nontoxic, hypoallergenic textiles with no residual chemicals remaining on the fabric after processing is to use none in the production process itself!. This is one of the primary principles that Sea and Sky always observe.



To tackle the difficulty of ensuring performance is not compromised while remaining as environmentally responsible in our manufacturing process , SEA & SKY's R&D has combined natural fibers such as cotton, linen, wool, with biodegradable polypropylene yarn, which results in diverse functions and features in our fabrics.
