Q. and estimatesAssisting in preparation of building applicationsArranging loan facilitiesProviding infrastructure facilities such as electricity & water serviceLand surveying and valuationSoil investigations & testingPre-Stressed Concrete YardOur pre-stressed concrete yard consists of 20 nos of pre-stressing long lines, 200ft long each which operates continuously & produce pre-stressed concrete "T" beams for suspended beam floor slabs & "K" beams (introduced by Dr. A. N. S. Kulasinghe) which are being widely used by our customers throughout the island in constructing houses and commercial buildings. Advantage in using pre-stressed beams in constructing suspended floors is the saving of scares timber which are being widely used in conventional in-situ concrete slabs and the saving of much wanted time. We intend to expand our pre-stressing yard in near future to cater for casting pre-stressed bridge beams, bridge planks & allied components. Pre-Cast ItemsPre-cast concrete door & window frames, arches louvers etc. are hardy and durable and withstands frequent environmental and climatic changes and hence does not neither crack, shrink nor warp. These items can be colored to resemble timber by spraying or painting with wood finish stains, lacquers or paints. Pile DrivingMost of the piling systems that are being widely used in Sri Lanka causes considerable vibrations & hence cannot be used in highly developed congested areas where structures or buildings are situated close by. Therefore we introduced steel case piling systems which hardly give way any harmful vibrations to nearby structures. (Hammering is done at the foot of the pile which minimizes vibrations) . Thus we think it&＃39;s a great success & a result of our long experimentation on piling systems. Construction of Deep Tube WellsToday we are equipped with necessary machinery, equipments and jigs required for boring deep tube wells. Few of the advantages of deep wells over the shallow wells are as follows. Possibility of extracting portable water found between crevices of imperviousstrata, even at a depth of 200 feet or more. Continuous supply of water even in drought seasons. Deep well water is less liable to pollutionLess space required. Saving on water bill. These wells are more suited for commercially built up areas such as factory yards, Hotel complexes, temples, kovils, church premises, hotels, housing schemes and even for small scale housing projects, where large quantities of water re consumed daily.
