2-Phenylphenol (OPP). Used as an in-can preservative in aqueous products such as animal, plant and synthetic glues and adhesive dispersions. Offers broad spectrum of activity covering bacteria, yeasts, mould fungi and lipophilic viruses.
Sodium-2-phenylphenolate (Na-OPP). Used as an in-can preservative in aqueous products such as animal, plant and synthetic glues and adhesive dispersions. Offers broad spectrum of activity covering bacteria, yeasts and mould fungi.

Yuanda manufacture the halogen-free grades Ortho Phenylphenol from 2005, current production capacity is 2300-2500MT per year. New another production line 5000MT per year will open on Oct.2012.

OPP is effective against a wide variety of mold fungi and bacterica for the preservation of glues and adhesives, polymer emulsions (coatings, PVA systems and rubber), thickeners ( starch, cellulose, guar, etc.), paper, textiles, dyes, temporary sapstain control for fresh cut lumber, concrete additives/ masonry, metalworking fluids, air filter oils, starches, clay slurries, printing inks,graphite, and hard surface treatment products (polishes, waxes and ceramic glazes).
