Shanghai STAL Precision Stainless Steel Co.,Ltd ( STAL) is a joint venture company betShanghai STAL Precision Stainless Steel Co.,Ltd ( STAL)en Allegheny Ludlum Corporation (ALC),USA and Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd, China ( Baosteel) , specializing in manufacturing and marketing precision-rolled stainless strips.  STAL was established in Dec, 1995 with USD96.56 million registered capital, 60% invested by ALC and 40% by Baosteel.

ALC, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA , a wholly-owned subsidiary of Allegheny Technologies Incorporated竊�YSE: ATI竊�is a world leading manufacturer of flat-rolled specialty metals, including precision-rolled plates, sheets and strips of stainless steel, nickel-based alloys, titanium, titanium-based alloys, as well as grain-oriented silicon electrical steel products and tool steel plates with the leading position in the field of production, marketing and technology.  
STAL is located in Xin-Zhuang Industrial Zone with assets of USD 250 million, covering an area of 12,000,000 square meters with 50,000 square meters building. STAL is equipped with state-of-the-art equipments, such as 20-roller Sendzimir mills, continuous bright annealing furnaces, tension levelers, degreasing cleaning lines and precision slitters. With ALC�� high technology, STAL is capable of manufacturing AISI 200��00��00 series stainless steels with different hardness, surfaces, or other special requirements for cold-rolled stainless steel strips  with the gauge ranging from 0.038 to 1.50mm and width from 3 to 1250mm.
