Its surface is red, smooth and finewith waxiness and water-retaining property; the sunny sideshows longitudinal stripes of red or demitint. Thepericarp is yellow-green when it is harvested, and yellow andbrighter after storage. With its thin skin and smallcore, the edible rate is as high as 90%; the crispy andvery juicy water white sarcocarptastes excellent without residue.
