Company Description

ShieldSpec is a company that brings extra value to Currency scanning and recording hardware, such as yShieldSpec LLCs.  We can assist you in reaching new markets by making your scanner compatible with the standards we are developing.  We are already working with a number of manufactures, US and European Marketers and government agencies.

We are hoping to position ourselves as a key enabler to OEM's such as yourself so that end users can purchase the best hardware and software combinations possible.  This way each OEM does not have to invest duplicate energies in developing the same technology.

We have developed OCR technology with a partner by way of proxy specifically for currency serialization and have exclusive rights to license the technology.  While the core technology is scanner independent, there is certain software glue that is needed to adapt it to different image formats and resolution.  Our latest greatest OCR, is incorporated into PC (Windows or Mac) applications.
