SIMSEK GUNES KOLLEKTORLERI ALM. INS. GIDA NAK. SAN. TIC. LTD. STI. firm was established in 1992 as a workshop for aluminium cutoff. Since aluminium cutoff business is rapidly growing and new firms take part in this sector, we began to search for new production areas. As a result we started manufacturing solar collectors while keeping on with the aluminium cutoff. The decision to manufacture solar collectors was made in 1997 after a long time Research-Development and market study.

To fulfill various requirements, product range, varies and increases day by day along with manufacturing of solar collectors, titanium coated selective surface solar collectors and then the solar energy package systems.

While working with main vendors in Turkey, our exports, specially to the European Union and many other countries in the world, have expanded and improved day by day. In 2006, Simsek Solar Collector Limited Company increased domestic sales by 25% and after building the new plant in Mersin-Tarsus Organization Zone on an area of 11.575 sqm, we aimed at expanding production capacity by 50% and raising the export rate up to 80%.
