Carrying the extra weight of the baby can totally change the centre of gravity in the water, making the person less buoyant. The person may experience lower back pain, tension in the neck and shoulders in their efforts to try to correct this imbalance. Once inflated the Swimlite Aqua Mum is discreetly positioned and held in place underneath a standard one piece swimming costume, no straps or ties. Its design provides buoyancy to pregnant mothers to allow them to regain a more natural position in the water whilst offering support to the lower abdomen. This in turn relieves the pressure placed on the lower back, neck and shoulders.There is no direct pressure placed on the baby as it has inflatable tubes positioned around the 'bump', providing support and these tubes also give support to the breasts. The Swimlite Aqua Mum allows freedom of movement and its design is almost invisible. It comes in two sizes to be used throughout the whole pregnancy.
