Swartland Ostriches, situated 50km north of Cape Town, South Africa, are producers of superior quality ostrich meat in various cuts and packaging formats.Swartland Ostriche market meat and leather from domesticated ostriches slaughtered under strict European Union regulations at our Swartland Ostrich Export Abattoir. Our abattoir is HACCP certified as well as HALAAL. The various cuts are packaged in 10kg boxes (4 X 2.5kg vacuum packs) which are either sold fresh (air-freighted, with a shelf life of 45 days after packaging) or frozen (sea-freighted, with a shelf life of 24 months after packaging).During our winter months (May to August) we also do various antelope species (springbuck, oryx, kudu, impala, etc.) which is also slaughtered under EU regulations.
