Company Description

Taian (Subic) Electric, Inc. was a joint venture of TECO Group of Companies of Taiwan and Yaskawa Controls Corporation of Japan. Taian (Subic) Electric, Inc. manufacturing site was established March 31, 1997 and started plant operations on October 1, 1997 in Subic Bay Industrial Park inside the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority. As part of the Industrial Products and Systems Automation Division, the primary function at first when it started operations in the Philippines was to manufacture and assemble OEM products specifically Industrial Control products such as Circuit Breakers, Magnetic Contactors, Thermal Overload Relays. All the products manufactured and assembled at Subic plant were originally exported to Taiwan and Japan. Additional products like the Variable Frequency Drives and Induction Motors are being imported from Taiwan.
