Teaxlive India Holdings tea exporters based in India. We export tea of all quality and prices to all over the world. We export CTC & Orthodox tea from hundreds of tea gardens in India (Assam, Darjeeling & Nilgiri) , . We aim to strike the right balance between quality & price for the importers. We want to minimize the hassles of the importer in sourcing the right kind of tea year after year. We use modern technology & IT to increase our efficiency. Following is the list of Grade classification which may help you understand Tea better: A CTC / OrthodoxCTC & Orthodox tea are two methods of tea production. Orthodox teas are more leaf-like while CTC tea is like grains. Orthodox tea are more expensive then CTC. B Assam / Darjeeling / NilgiriDarjeeling makes world famous Orthodox teas. Darjeeling tea is very expensive and they are less in production. Assam makes both CTC and Orthodox, although CTC tea is more in production. Nilgiri also produces both CTC & Orthodox. The Nilgiri teas are very low-priced. However, there quality is much less than in Assam tea. C Black / GreenBlack teas are fully fermented while Green teas are partially fermented. Black tea has a stronger color & aroma. While green tea liquor is pale. Black tea is most common. 2. GradesBoth CTC & Orthodox teas are further sub-divided into several grades. Grades are used to indicate the size & structure of the tea. Unfortunately, the grades are not standardized all over the world. So, it is always best to get a sample. We can see the size ourselves & match them. So, what your client means by BOP may not match with my idea. Examples of grades in CTC are BP, BOP, PF, PD, OF, etc. Some Orthodox grades are FBOP, GBOP, TGFOP, STGFOP, etc
