TechniTechniweldld applies the most common forms of welding that is available in the welding and fabrication engineering industry. These include, but are not limited to: • arc welding (MMA, SMAW Shielded Metal Arc Welding or sometimes also called stick welding) • MIG welding (GMAW Gas Metal Arc Welding and often in South Africa it is called co2 welding) • Flux cored arc welding • TIG welding (Tungsten Insert Gas Welding or GTAW Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) • Oxyacetylene gas welding (gas welding) • Spot welding • Cast iron welding • Butt welding Although we prefer to carry out our welding services at our factory we do offer welding on site. We are able to weld material like: • Mild steel • Low carbon and low alloy steel • Medium and high carbon steel • Stainless steel (austenitic type, martensitic, and Ferritic) • Aluminium • Alloy steels • Copper • Cast iron welding and refractory metals welding • and basically any form of steel that may be required.
