Tongkook entered the fiber industry with synthetic fiber in 1965 and has attained a leadership role in the development of the Korean fiber industry. As a general fiber producer, Tongkook is equipped with a series of production facilities for manufacturing fibers, fabrics, and processing resin. Its stature in the domestic and international markets has grown with exports totaling over $700 million to more than 150 countries.
