Company Description

This online shop is opened to supply the Chinese green tea, named Gounaogong, from Tonshi town, Chenzhou, Hunan province.  It was awarded golden prize at the 3rd international tea convention in Tokyo, Japan, in the year of 2001. Hundreds of years ago, the Song Dynasty cTonshi Green Tea Co., Ltdt selected it as one of the tributes.

In the ancient Song dynasty, a winner of the highest imperial examination, whose hometown was Tonshi, with the great gratefulness, paid tribute with the tea to the emperor.  The emperor Songhuizong was so pleased by its taste, that since then this tea was pointed to be tribute year after year.

The special taste was gifted by the nature. In Tonshi town, the tea plants are given enough moisture by the valley climate, along with plenty of sunshine on the hill slopes and the unique composition of the soil. There're several hotsprings and many woods. All these makes its speciality. A same tea plant, if transplanted to another area out of Tonshi, its quality and taste will be totally different.

In the western world, people mostly drink cofee for refreshing; in the east, people drink tea,  which is more healthy because of its lower calorie. It was said by antient Chinese doctors that tea drink can purify the body, if much oil and fat were intaken.
