Unitrades(pvt)ltd wish to introduce ourselves asan associate company of the Bartleet Group and have been exportingtea to many parts of the world for the past 40 years. Bartleet& Company was founded in 1904 mainly as a Tea and ProduceBroking Company by the British who ruled Sri Lanka during thattime. Current Chairman’s father, late Mr. Mallory Wijesinghe wasthe first Sri Lankan Chairman of Bartleet Group who took over in1958. Since then the company has diversified into many other areas,such as trading in stocks, financial services, intending, producemarketing, information technology including software &hardware, agricultural machinery, light engineering and mineralprocessing, insurance and export of tea. Also, we wish to state that we arethe Sri Lankan partner of the world’s largest life insurancecompany LIC India. In the finance sector, we have a partnershipwith Religare Corporation, which is one of the largest financialinstitutions with their Head Office is also located inIndia. All above mentioned activities areindependently handled by the Subsidiary/Associate companies of thegroup and we, Unitrades (Pvt) Ltd, the first Associate Company ofthe Group established in 1966 functions as the export arm of theGroup. We do export tea in bulk, packets, tea bags and also invarious forms of presentation items, such as tin caddies with highvalue addition and currently deal with countries such as France,UK, Russia & CIS Countries, Turkey, Cyprus, Syria, Germany,Seychelles etc.  We do pack teas under the brandnames which are owned by us and also based on the requirement ofour valued customers, we do undertake packing orders with customerbrands/designs. At this point, we also wish tostate that our organization is well equipped in all aspects thetrade to handle any type of tea in any kind of packing and we arecapable of supplying any quantity of tea, to meet the buyer’srequirements.
