And Vietnam took effect, we have shifted our strategic focus to the u. S. Market. In 2004, we achieved an important milestone by opening our first showroom in the u. S. This showroom has been the direct channel for our factory and our u. S. Buyers working directly with each other.
Environmental policy
In addition to innovative designs, competitive prices, on-time delivery, and high quality control, we always have our full attention on environmental policy. We have committed ourselves to use only certified timber and especially timber coming from forests certified by the forest stewardship council (fsc) . An fsc-certified product provides a guarantee that the material is originated in a forest managed to highly environmental, social, and economic standards.
Quality control and warranty
Vifah furniture is built to the highest standards. Only the premium grade mature timbers are carefully selected, so that they are durable and resistant to termites and decay. They are kiln dried to ensure the sturdiness of the furniture for a lifetime. The furniture is constructed with precise mortise and tenon joinery. Only weather-resistant glues and solid brass and stainless steel hardware manufactured by our own factory are used.
Quality assurance is an integrated part of our business processes. Our quality control staff consists of senior engineers, who have been working in the field for more than a decade. At every stage of the chain of custody, we carefully carry out multiple inspection steps to ensure that the products are always in the best possible condition throughout the manufacturing process. Our furniture is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship, materials, and construction for one year from the date of purchase.
Social accountability
We are committed to demonstrating best social practice throughout the supply chain. Our factory social accountability standard is based on the sa8000 with well-defined policies in child labor, forced labor, health and safety, freedom of association and right to collective bargaining, discrimination, discipline, working hours, compensation, management systems. We are proud to be one of the few factories who provide full health coverage for all employees.
Capacity
On average, we are able to deliver 100 containers per month. For new designs, the total time for creating technical specifications, creating sample products, and projecting manufacturing costs is typically from 10 to 14 days. We always work at our full speed to ensure that our customers' orders are always on schedule.
