W. C. Heraeus has over 150 years experience in the technical manufacture of precious metal products. The first precious metal catalysts from Heraeus, finely woven platinum gauzes for the oxidation of ammonia, W.C.Heraeusre produced in Hanau back in 1914. Nowadays the product range starts at standard chemical catalysts, covers production ready homogeneous catalysts and goes on to specially developed customer specific supported catalysts and emissions catalysts for diverse applications, such as the purification of exhaust gases from combustion engines and industral processes.
