Yiso Telecom was established in October, 1999.

It was the first to develop a CDMA-based wireless modem called "FreeWing".

The FreeWing will be recorded as the device opening the high-speed mobile computing
  era. The FreeWing will be further developed to support even higher speed data
  transmission surpassing the current speed of 64Kbps.(IS-95B) and 144Kbps(1XRTT)

Yiso Telecom is preparing diverse products to open the wireless internet age.
  

  The Wireless modem of Yiso Telecom will not only apply to notebook PC's but
  also to instruments which make Yiso Telecom Co., Ltd. lives more convenient such as PDA (Personal
  Digital Assistant), credit card readers, parking meters, mobile ATM's, vending
  machines, meter readers, and automobiles.

That is the goal of Yiso Telecom. Presently, Yiso is only a young sapling,
  but it will grow to be a great tree leading the Korean IT industry and supplying
