Nambayufa  coffee is Five Senses Pty Ltd highest quality brand of speciality coffee produced in the Chuave area of Simbu Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG). The coffee is grown and produced by smallholder farmers living in the vicinty of Mt. Elimbari.

No agricultural chemicals are used in growing of the coffee, so it is naturally grown. It is grown 1600 to 2200 meters above sea level for optimal temperature, and soil conditions allow plants to remain evergreen all year round with rainfall estimates at 2,000 mm per annum. Our coffee is shade grown to ensure that there is no over bearing and heat stress.

It is the preparation process prior to milling that makesNambayufa of the highest quality. Every farmer strictly prepares coffee under the following guidelines:
1) Only fully ripe cherries are harvested by the farmers and pulped on the same day picked
2) pulped wet beans are fermented in wooden or concrete vats for 36 to 48 hours
3) once the coffee is sufficiently fermented, it is thoroughly washed in fresh and clean water.
4) once the coffee is cleaned, it is sundried until it is ready to be sold. Farmers are being encouraged to use raised beds for both skin drying and complete drying.
5) once sun drying is completed, the coffee is bagged and stored.

Nambayufa specifications are defects per kg at 20, and screen size of 17 and 18. This is our premium grade smallholder coffee, it is fully sun dried, hand sorted and graded. We can offer at USD2.50 per kg FOB Lae seaport, PNG. Packing is 300 X 60kg bags in 1 X 20 ft FCL, for total weight of 18,000 kgs per 20 ft FCL. We can also offer LCL, being 20 X 60 kg bags on 1 pallet.
